Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd kept building on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO during the second round. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she had in any major capacity. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7.7 on ESPN. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous decision.
